Snow architecture

The third edition of the Snow Show, an event conceived in 2000 by Lance Fung, is to take place at Sestriere to coincide with the Winter Olympics. As always, the challenge is to experiment with the confine between art and architecture with ephemeral works made from ice and snow. And as always, a number of well known international names have been invited to take part.

Six pairs of artists and architects have been put together for the occasion - Daniel Buren/Patrick Bouchain, Carsten Höller/Tod Williams & Billie Tsien, Yoko Ono/Arata Isozaki, Paola Pivi/Cliostraat, Jaume Plensa/Norman Foster, Kiki Smith/Lebbeus Woods. Works are on show until March 19.
