Bernadette Corporation
The curious “Bernadette Corporation” signature conceals a group of French and American artists who, in 1994, began to explore the social ramifications of certain sectors considered to be ‘exterior’ . These sectors included fashion and visual arts. In its research, the group conducted various experiments. It created a label for clothing, published an art magazine and wrote a story set in New York after 9/11.
The latest effort of Bernadette Corporation, which is in yet another medium, is on exhibit in the halls of this Dutch museum: a street movie confronted in Bernadette Corporation’s usual ironic and playful style. E.S.
