His is the first piece to be realised and from April to Januray 2006, will alternate with the other two prize winners, Fausto Segoni (from July to October) and Carla Cardinaletti (until January). “BE is a solitary shout. It recalls Pirandello’s Uno, nessuno, e centomila” explains the artist, chosen by the jury (Jérôme Sans, Wilbert Das, Joseph Grima, Patrick Tuttofuoco and Helena Kontova) from the 1,200 entries.
As in the first edition, the space given over to these temporary works of art is a blank wall on a building in Milan (in via Pioppette, near the Colonne di San Lorenzo). E.S.
