A full immersion in the world of the great American photographer: 170 pieces (chosen by Man Ray for a major exhibition held at the Venice Biennale in 1976), movies by the artist and a study day. This is the package offered by the Complesso Monumentale di San Micheletto, headquarters of the Fondazione Ragghianti in Lucca.

The “heart” of this Man Ray project is without a doubt the exhibition, previously presented in some of the most important museums around the world, it is realised in collaboration with the Archivio Storico delle Arti Contemporanee of the Biennale di Venezia, which holds the precious collection.

Just as interesting are the movies by the artist, universally considered to be fundamental pieces of twentieth century experimental cinema, whilst during the study day, also in collaboration with the Archivio Storico delle Arti contemporanee della Biennale di Venezia, some of the most famous Italian specialists in the history of visual arts, cinema and photography examine the role and relevance of the pioneering research carried out by Man Ray.
