A pop-up store designed as a time tunnel

Nax Architects uses steel and LED lights for a temporary space in Shanghai expressing values and identity as an innovative cosmetics brand.

The pop-up store designed by Nax Architects in Shanghai provides an immersive experience in a futuristic setting and represents the values of Cosmetea, a beauty products brand that integrates traditional culture and the benefits of tea into its universe.

The temporary shop is located on Yuyuan Road, a centuries-old street which has undergone various transformations and stratifications over time, representing the history and culture of Shanghai. The Chinese architects introduce a "time tunnel", characterised by mirrored stainless steel surfaces and LED lights.

The cylindrical cavity integrates several floors and showcases for the display and storage of Cosmetea products. The shop, whose identity reflects that of the brand, also has an urban function: at night it is like a beacon that illuminates the surroundings and contributes to the safety of the area.
