This is how Dominique Perrault - born in 1953 and originating from Clermont-Ferrand, without doubt one of the protagonists of the world of international architecture – describes her approach to designing. Which is solidified in projects such as the Museum of Modern Art for the Pinault foundation or the Grande Bibliothèque, both in Paris. As well as the spectacular cycle track and Olympic sized swimming pool in Berlin or the Galician cultural city in Santiago de Compostela.
Thirty two illuminated panels displayed at the Triennale in Milan (until 9 March) allow the visitor to discover ten buildings designed by the French architect – including design, architecture, urban planning and landscape. The travelling exhibition, after Milan, will then show in Mexico City.
