There has been a lot of talking about a smaller, cheaper version of Nintendo newest gaming system, the Switch, which was launched in March 2017. The new Switch, paradoxically, doesn't switch, because it loses the TV connectivity via USB-C of its bigger brother, making it totally portable and not just a smaller hybrid console. The display is also smaller, 5.5" – the original sports a 6.2", 1280x720-pixel screen. Nintendo has sold around 34 million systems in the first two years. Switch Lite will debut on September 20, the same day of Zelda: Link's Awakening release, with three colourful models. A limited Pokemon edition is also expected to be released.
