DJI’s new Osmo Nano is a tiny, modular, wearable action camera

Ultra-light, hands-free, and packed with high-quality imaging technology, the latest camera by the Chinese drone-maker is like a bodycam for oversharing creators.

DJI has introduced Osmo Nano, a new wearable action camera designed for creators who want to capture professional-quality images while keeping their hands free. The camera weighs just 52 grams and measures only 57 × 29 × 28 mm. Additionally, the Osmo Nano can be attached almost anywhere using its dual-sided magnetic mount: hats, street poles, pet collars, you name it.

Inside, the camera packs a 1/1.3-inch sensor paired with a high-performance image processor, delivering up to 13.5 stops of dynamic range, 4K video at 60 frames per second, and even 4K slow motion at 120 fps. The ultra-wide 143° field of view is meant to fit as many details as possible into the frame, while advanced features like 10-bit color, D-Log M recording, and SuperNight mode give creators professional-level flexibility in post-production. For smooth footage, DJI has included its well-tested RockSteady 3.0 and HorizonBalancing technologies.

Last but not least, Osmo Nano comes with a multifunctional dock that acts as a screen, remote control, charging base, and fast data transfer hub. The dock can recharge the camera up to 80 percent in just 20 minutes and allows recording of up to 200 minutes at 1080p or 60 minutes at 4K with Endurance mode. It also includes a microSD slot and supports file transfers at speeds up to 600 MB/s.
