Greece’s first skyscraper to be designed by Foster + Partners

The 200-meters-high tower will be the star of Hellinikon, the sumptuous project still under construction in Athens to revive tourism in Attica.

Lamda Development unveiled the design of Athens Riviera Tower, Greece’s first skyscraper designed by Foster + Partners in Hellinikon, the largest urban regeneration project in Europe, developed on the site of the former airport in southern Athens and hosting a 400-hectares park, luxury homes, hotels, a casino, a marina, retail space, and offices.

The building – characterized by an organic facade and interiors inspired by the surrounding landscape – will rise 200 meters above sea level and will host 169  one-to-five-bedroom residences, up to the penthouses, arranged on 50 floors. It should be completed during the first phase 1 of Hellinikon project, with handover scheduled for 2026. It will be the tallest building in the country.
