After living in different places, including a solar house and a warehouse, the American artist Ben Perrone designed and built his triangular dream home in Buffalo at the age of 84, in 2018. The 2,000-square-foot triangle-home has an open-plan design and is composed of one bedroom, kitchen and three bathrooms. According to Perrone, the triangle is a welcoming form, which always gives the impression that room expand, from any point of view you look at it.
After five years in the triangular house, Perrone decided to sell it for $760,000 – price does not include the furnishings, although they are all negotiable, including the works of art. The artist stated that he loves living there, but because of age and health he needs to move to a tinier house.
Perrone exhibited his works of art around Europe through the 1960s and 1970s. Then, in the 1980s, he started woodworking and went back to school to study graphic arts. At the time, at the age of 89, he continues to create.
