Since 2016 Open House Milano celebrates the architecture and urban design of the Lombard capital, opening for just one weekend more than 100 sites and residences, from buildings that are now part of the contemporary metropolitan skyline, to pearls of historical and artistic heritage. This year’s edition, which will take place on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October, will be dedicated to a rediscovery of Milan's unpublished architecture.

In the DNA of the event, realized with the patronage of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities, the City of Milan and the Order of Architects of Milan, is the formula “extraordinary openings and free guided tours”, format maintained in the 2020 edition, with the physical opening of a selection of 25 sites, however, made more flexible thanks to a virtual schedule. The program of digital openings, in fact, will involve homes and private offices that will be opened with direct social to return the exclusivity of the event that happens, not repeatable.

New for the year 2020 is also the Open House World Wide Marathon, a 48 hours of digital openings that on November 14 and 15 will involve the international network with a programming of the best of each edition.
