Triennale di Milano starts a Decameron project on Instagram

Inspired by Boccaccio’s novellas, Triennale invites artists, designers, architects, intellectuals, musicians, singers, writers, art directors and journalists to share music, words and thoughts on its Instagram channel. Every day at 5:00 pm

During a period of national health emergency that forced all italian museums to close their doors and activities until April 3, 2020, Triennale di Milano launches its cultural offer, projecting itself entirely on streaming platforms and socials. The first major initiative is Decameron which, from March 5 for every day at 5:00 p.m., broadcasts talks, live music and performances.

The idea is taken from Giovanni Boccaccio’s namesake literary work, about a group of young people who, escaping the plague of 1348, stay outside Florence for ten days telling each other some stories. The number of guests is wide: not only artists, designers, architects and intellectuals, but also musicians, singers, writers, directors and journalists, who will offer a transversal storytelling of our time.

Among the artists are expected Anna Franceschini, Nico Vascellari, Patrick Tuttofuoco and Invernomuto. But there will also be the writer Michela Murgia, the radio host Linus, the choreographer and dancer Annamaria Ajmone and the art critic Giovanni Agosti.
