Ozer\Urger Architects designed the Akyokus pedestrian bridge as a white, bold structure overlooking the city of Konya. The structure, consisting of two curved girders containing a cantilevered walkway, soon became a lively public space thanks to its panoramic terrace.

The bridge is part of a larger redevelopment plan aiming to intensify the connections between the urbanised area and the recreational area on the Akyokus hill. With its 80 meters span, the steel structure physically links the hill and the plain, where the city ends, bypassing the Isparta-Konya highway.
