The initiative was born from the wish to prevent the discomfort that construction sites always brings – whether it’s a refurbishment or a new construction – turning it into a moment of knowledge and historical valorisation together with technical and artistic dissemination of specific cultural values for the citizens and therefore to the whole city.
The first in a series of initiatives has been the Spring 2018 ready-to-wear fashion show by stylist Antonio Marras inspired by oniric scenographies of Federico Fellini. The theatre, as Marras writes “appears as a post-industrial cathedral in a mediaeval-future, an enormous empty box inhabited by scaffolding, beams and girders which provide the backdrop for well-known or familiar characters, or ones simply imagined in another, parallel universe”.
