The piece is made of fine Japanese timbers from plentiful forests, made with high end craftsmanship, so that it can be used for a life time. It comes in three sizes, ‘single’, ‘double’ and ‘long’: just like music, it makes very rhythmic expression when arranging several pieces together. It is made of Hinoki (Japanese cypress) from Higashi-Shirakawa in Gifu where one of the More Trees Forests is located. Hinoki is a representative tree in Japan for having a good scent and for being a strong material. It has been used traditionally for buildings such as temples.
