Mesh Chair

Designed by People’s Industrial Design Office the steel Mesh Chair is light thank to the designer’s work on the diagonals, and comes in different colours and height.

Not all wire is created equal. The Mesh Chair is an exercise in efficiency.

The wire mesh is dense in areas that support the body and open where it doesn’t. In this way we increase comfort without increasing weight. The diagonals that are crucial for structure are made thick while those that are needed for comfort are thin. The emphasis on the diagonals results in a striking hatch effect that gives a light airiness to the chair.

The Mesh Chair comes in a side chair version and a stool version in various colors of a powdercoat finish. Also available are matching seating pads for added comfort.
