Ono-Sake Warehouse

The Ono-Sake Warehouse designed by Eureka studio and G architects in Tsukuba, Japan, is a wide shop dedicated to the distribution of sake that by night turns into a lantern.

The Ono-Sake Warehouse by Eureka and G architects studio rises on the border of a commercial and residential district in Tsukuba, a city located in the Ibaraki prefecture, in Japan. It is designed with wide open spaces that are visible from the street in order to attract local visitors and passersby.

  The architecture complex is composed of a storage, a store and an office. The storage is separated from the other functions in order to not interfere with the regular visitors’ flux. The shop is located on a crossroads that makes it easy to reach by local residents and cars can easily drive through. The structure is made with wood, steel and plaster work and feature large windows and wooden floors.
