The design of the stand, conceived by Patricia Urquiola and Patrizia Moroso, transplant the ancient gestures of weaving into the exhibition space, reinterpreting the loom in a contemporary key, setting the ropes in a visual interplay of horizontal and vertical lines. The “going back to basics” approach is enhanced by the choice of colours and materials – red, blue, cardboard, unfaced MDF, painted iron, and rope.
