Pretty Vacancy

Diesel has chosen a single space – as welcoming as a home and as striking as a hotel – in which to present Diesel Living’s new products and its complete range. #MDW2017

Bringing all its partnerships with furnishing companies – Foscarini, Moroso, Scavolini, Seletti, Berti, Iris and Home Linen – together under one (glass) roof, Diesel presents the complete range of Living products in “a hotel as welcoming as an apartment”, explains Andrea Rosso, creative director of licensed Diesel products.

This imaginary living space will remain open for six months, well after MDW ends, waiting to be explored in a former 1930s’ goldsmiths’ workshop at the back of an old courtyard at Via Cesare Correnti 14. Newcomers to the 2017 collection, called “Pretty Vacancy”, include the large Ironmaiden sofa with steel frame, the bolted-together Assembly chair, Smash and Vent wall lamps, the Glassdrop suspension lamp and the Wunderkammer set of metal objects.
