Wooden Stable
Inspired by Enzo Mari’s design philosophy, the Korean studio Jungmo Seungyeon designed an object with no specific purpose, that sits between a wooden horse, a table and a chair.

With their Wooden Stable the designers reflect on the object’s function and significance in a playful, instinctive way. The object resembles a wooden horse, but can be used as a table or as a stool, even if it doesn’t really have a fixed purpose of usage, but is to be used and crafted by the necessary purpose of the user. Individually, wooden horses can be used to sit down, or to stack small objects such as books and vases. Their modularity also allows extended horizontal, or vertical structures.
