This historical location will host all 16 special editions created for the occasion by international design companies: from Agape to Alessi, from Arper to Artemide, but also B&B Italia, Danese, Fabrica, Fiam, FontanaArte, Fratelli Guzzini, Kartell, Marazzi, Rimadesio, Smeg, Tubes and Unifor. Each firm has re-proposed a successful object from their collections in the two PANTONE® Colours of the Year 2016 (PANTONE 13-1520 Rose Quartz and PANTONE 15-3919 Serenity), shades that inspire balance, order and tranquillity.
The exhibit design envisages a series of islands arranged in the space of the Impluvium and an interplay of overlapping panels, forming a three-dimensional route that leads visitors on a discovery of the iconic objects on display.
An exhibition that tells of colour and experimentation, an installation with a strong visual impact, and an open book on the history of design.
