Adam & Eva Collection

Andrea Santamarina expands her Flat Twins collection with a series of vases representing Adam and Eva drawn like the vignettes of a 3D storyboard.

Andrea Santamarina has created a new limited collection of handpainted Flat Twins Vases – a flat vase collection inspired by Giorgio Morandi still lifes – after she presented this sculptural serie in the latest edition of Producto Fresco at La Central de Diseño of Matadero Contemporary Art Center (Madrid, Spain).

The figures follow the shape of each vase, which appear on both sides of the designs looking like the vignettes of a 3D storyboard.

Santamarina has a personal style, characterized by simple lines, influenced by the Mediterranean tradition. She has a multi-disciplinary approach to her work in producing objects and installations blurred the lines between design and contemporary art, functional use and sculpture. Drawing is the essential tool of her research.
