up. The chair is made of smoked oak,
steel, leather and textile.
Anna Aagaard
Jensen for Bjørn Elmquist, Lawyer. An honest, open and warm
chair, where tradition gets a modern
twist and invites you in. It’s made in
ash, and the textile is hand-tuftet wool
and alpacha.
Julie Stokholm for Jørgen Bækmark, Architect. Forward tilting chair with removable
cushion. Made from ash with cushion
in Hallingdal 65 wool from Kvadrat and
braided paper.
Maiken Lindhardt for Ghita Nørby,
Actress. Ghita Nørby loves garden, roses in particular. The chair is upholstered with red Divina fabric from Kvadrat and the wooden legs are made of walnut.
Oline Marie Andersen for Karl Lagerfeld, Fashion
Designer. Inspired by the traditional Chanelquilt.
Using a self-developed casting
method which imitates the quilt in
20 seconds. Made of Polyurethane
foam, CR neoprene, plywood, steel
and suede.
Ronni Bjørnum for Mervyn Kurlansky,
Graphic Designer. ‘Mervyn’ is based on Mervyn Kurlansky’s graphic
designs and preferences. The soft removable
cushions are fixed in the stringent frame,
creating a contrast between soft and
hard. Materials - smoked oak and
wool.
Signe Haupt for Ursula Munch-Petersen,
Ceramic designer. The frame is made of ash
wood, the seat and the back is made of
linen canvas, and the removable fabric
is made of Hallingdahl from Kvadrat.
Sofie Ritz for Jørgen Leth, Film
director and author. The chair is designed with attention
to details. It invites to immersion
and observation of the surrounding
world, so that the user feels
present. The materials are ash,
linen girths and cushions in
wool.
Tor Nørgaard Klerk for Preben Wilhjelm,
Politician. Knee chair with strong emphasis on movement
while working. Use also as a conventional chair,
as the seat construction flips. Bamboo frame,
PU foam and Trevira CS.
William Potts for Merethe Stagetorn,
Defense Attorney & Art
collector. The chair is created for Merethe Stagetorn, and reflects
her as a defense attorney and art collector.
This is a proposal challenging the general view,
and definition of furniture for older people
- through form, normality, function and
