Lea Ceramiche

For Cersaie 2014 Lea Ceramiche’s exhibition area has been designed by Diego Grandi with a combination of new collections and existing lines.

The architectural concept designed by Diego Grandi has been developed to become visible even from the outside.
By simulating the covering of a ventilated facade, Total White slabs of 5 mm thick Absolute Slimtech cover the entire surface. Irregular cuts in the intense white surfaces, with polished finish, define the entrance and the entire perimeter of the area. Inside, the area is divided into three specific sections, which highlight the two different routes that Lea Ceramiche has been following: Slimtech laminated stoneware, on one side, with its slim structure and large size; and another section that explores the infinite possibilities of porcelain stoneware.

Slimtech, available with a thickness of 3, 3.5 and 5 mm, this year is offered in three new series: Timeless Marble, Absolute and Nest. With Timeless Marble, impressive slabs amplify the precious appearance of marble: variations in pattern, available in four colours, stand out on large modules with a thickness of 5.5 mm. Glossy or matt surfaces, available in two pure primary colours (total white and total black) are at the heart of Absolute.

Large sizes, a new thickness and two new increase the possibilities of installation, especially in the field of contract projects.

The Nest collection, designed by HOK Product Design, is another addition to the Slimtech series and is available with a thickness of 3 mm. It has been presented at the Salone del Mobile this year and has been used for the walls of the reception area: irregular modules in a variety of colours create large hexagons.

The concrete effect is reinterpreted by the new District collection, available in four colours, ranging from beige to grey and four sizes, including the extra large 90x90 cm and 45x90 cm.

Subtle movements and delicate veins, created with the digital printing technology, characterise Nova, offered in four sizes and in basically neutral tones, namely four shades of grey. Stain and damp resistant, easy to clean, it is ideal for many intended uses, such as interiors, contract projects and also exteriors, thanks to the grip finish, which is non-slip.

Stoneclay is a new series, characterised by delicate and neutral colours, a soft and warm texture that is pleasant to touch. A balanced collection, with a familiar appeal, that matches with traditional spaces and contemporary areas.

Bio Lumber is a full body porcelain stoneware, featuring digital decorations that highlight all the natural charm of wood. The patterns, available in a variety of modules and three colours, offer a truly personal interpretation of the wood effect.

In Sunrise the veins of wood are made more vibrant by the light and shadow created by the typical texture of porcelain stoneware, to give you all the substantial appeal of wood. Available in only one unique size - 20 x 90 cm - and in five tones, Sunrise is characterised by a variety of different patterns.
