True to the Bauhaus philosophy according to which modern furniture should complete architectural space and not compete with it, the American corporation proposes ideas and themes reflecting the heritage of furniture, fabric and accessory design.

At the Salone new collections alternate with revisitations of selected classics that have always been considered icons of the modern, by designers like Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Florence Knoll, Eero Saarinen, Tobia Scarpa and Marcel Breuer.

Among the new collections is the one with London architect David Adjaye, who presents his The Washington Collection for Knoll: a collection of chairs that transforms the artist’s architectural and sculptural vision into objects for the home and the office.

The two Skeleton and Skin chairs are notable for the design of their legs and are available in diecast aluminium and reinforced nylon. Each opposite to the other, the aluminium chair consists of a thick geometric grid, whilst the one in nylon is composed of a coloured body frame of the same shape. For external use.
