Yann Kersalé / 8

Inspired by the marine world, Kersalé has designed for Hermès a nomadic lantern with four independent light sources united in a single holder, presented during Milan Design Week.

Yann Kersalé: Lantherne
The Lantherne d’Hermès consists of four individual light sources, brought together on the same base in a leather holder.
Each bulb, fitted with a rechargeable battery, can be used separately and without wires either indoors or outdoors.

Thanks to the integrated LED technology, two kinds of light can be created: diffused or concentrated. The three basic materials are aluminium, leather and glass: aluminium for rigidity and lightness. Water-resistant calf leather to line, protect and give it elegance. Glass for its optical qualities.
