The two designers Dominik Lutz and Lutz Pankow presented at Imm Cologne 2014 their new furnitures and lights collection, entirely designed in Hamburg and made in Germany.

Pliet is a design brand based in Hamburg, founded in spring 2012 by the two designers Dominik Lutz and Lutz Pankow.

In northern German slang, pliet means “intelligent thought”. It’s derived from the low German term plietsch (intelligent, bright, smart, clever, cute).

The aim of the brand is to design clever, durable and aesthetic products on a high quality level. All products can be integrated in various interiors, they are often modular and they are adaptable to changing living conditions.

The production at local manufacturers with domestic materials guarantee a sustainable approach for each product. Pliet’s lights use latest energy saving LED and fluorescent lamp technology to fulfil the responsibility for environment friendly lighting. The Pliet collection is entirely designed in Hamburg and made in Germany.
