As the name suggests, this object will enable us to “carry on” in difficult times such as those we are living in. While its presentation might appear something of a provocation, in reality we are presented with a well-designed, functional and versatile item.
Faccin’s own words best describe its features: “It is a ‘vehicle’ that uses human traction to transport all kinds of things: earth, manure, stones, bricks, sand, a child… It is a beautiful object that uses the lever, a simple but highly efficient physical principle that enables us to ‘lighten’ the load.”
The Carry On wheelbarrow is on sale at the Rossana Orlandi gallery in Milan.
