On the occasion of IMM Cologne 2013, French brand Ligne Roset presented a series of new objects and accessories for the home, among which the Itisy console, designed by Philippine Lemaire.
The Itisy console is a flexible, extensible set of small tables that, formally inspired by traditional stilts, can be easily transformed into a dining table.
Thanks to an ingenious system of metal joints, the system of small, round solid oak tables can be configured to form a square dining table, that can accommodate up to four guests. In each of its possible configurations, the whole retains its harmony.
French designer Philippine Lemaire has, throughout her career, created furniture and accessories, but also works as a set and exhibition designer. Before her most recent collaboration with Ligne Roset, she has also worked with clients such as the Faïencerie de Gien and the Cristalleries de Saint-Louis, and has exhibited at several galleries and events, such as the 2012 edition of Designers Days.
