The 4th international scientific Bauhaus.solar congress supports this development by promoting interdisciplinary dialogue between architects, urban and regional planners, landscape architects, civil engineers, technicians, designers and users, and representatives of the solar, property and financial industries. The conference and a parallel exhibition, staged by the Thuringian Solar Industry Association SolarInput and its partners, offer the chance to network and find project partners for realising innovations.
In Solarvalley Mitteldeutschland, one of the world's largest photovoltaic clusters, research institutions and solar companies are also increasingly initiating and implementing research projects for building-integrated photovoltaics. The excellent submissions for the Europe-wide Bauhaus. solar AWARD prove that the Bauhaus.solar vision is becoming more firmly established year on year. This year, for the second time, the award is being offered by SolarInput and Solarvalley Mitteldeutschland. The funders have created a platform for young architects who combine solar energy with innovation construction.
