The concept of pseudo-traditional architecture, of its combination with original buildings from the previous centuries and with modern architecture, is developed at the Moscow Architectural Institute, the principal architectural school of Russia. The Institute is situated in the Rozhdestvenka Street in the very middle of the historic old city, whose reconstruction can be seen immediately from the windows of the Institute.
