Camparino in Galleria, Milan’s historic aperitif bar, has been renovated and expanded by Lissoni Casal Ribeiro, who has added new bright and reflective surfaces to the original interior. Organized on three floors – with basement obtained from the old warehouse – the bar in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II hosts on the ground floor Bar di passo, result of a conservative restoration.  A backlit structure follows in height the staircase leading to the Spiritello Room, arranged around a central block with a cannetted mirror covering that has the dual function of bar counter and peninsula table. The room is completed by a walnut wood paneling and topped by a backlit lozenge ceiling that recalls the one on the ground floor.
The 1920s atmosphere is punctuated by the garnet red tones of the seats – stools and benches overlooking the Galleria. Finally, Gaspare Campari Room in the basement is a vaulted space for bar-tender courses or private dinners.
