The ability to configure and reconfigure domestic space has become a defining principle of contemporary design. Homes are no longer a static entities; they transform and adapt to the gestures, habits, and evolving identities of those who inhabit them. This is the field of possibilities Ritmonio explores – designing flexible, customizable environments – to bring this vision to the Salone del Mobile 2026.
Balancing compositional freedom, formal rigor, and technical innovation, ElemenTap is Ritmonio’s new launch at the fair. More than a collection, it is a true ecosystem. Evolving from the Elementa line, it stems from a radical insight: the mixer—traditionally the functional core—becomes a structural element, running through bars and supports and emerging as a distinctive architectural feature. Water, once invisible, takes center stage, shaping space while contributing to a visual and sensory experience.
The system’s strength lies in its exceptional combinability. Shelves, soap holders, bars, and supports for towels and bathrobes integrate with new components in dynamic, open-ended configurations that can evolve over time. Each composition establishes a precise visual rhythm, where the flow of water connects elements and generates a coherent micro-architecture with a clear, recognizable identity.
This design freedom also translates into ease of installation: ElemenTap requires just two wall mounting holes, ensuring formal clarity and adaptability across a range of contexts, including compact or complex spaces. The system is conceived to change over time – each module can be replaced, added, or reconfigured without invasive work – offering a tangible response to the needs of ever-evolving interiors.
Underlying this approach is a commitment to circularity. Modularity and the ability to act on individual components—without replacing the entire system—reduce waste and extend product life cycles. This, a quintessentially design-driven concern, forms the basis of a strong identity, expressed in fully tailor-made bathroom environments.
At its core is Ritmonio’s know-how, rooted in nearly 80 years of industrial history that combines precision with a culture of detail. The Factory division, with its expertise in components and safety valves, represents the company’s technological backbone and ensures rigorous quality control. The same attention is then applied to domestic space through the Bath&Shower division, where engineering meets design.
Completing the picture is a tangible commitment to environmental responsibility: certified processes, entirely Italian production, and water-saving solutions point to an approach that moves beyond aesthetics toward a conscious notion of luxury, suited to both residential settings and large-scale contract and hospitality projects.
These themes are central to contemporary design discourse, and by engaging with them, Ritmonio presents a clear vision at the Salone del Mobile: the bathroom as a coherent ecosystem, a space that takes on a leading role within the domestic landscape and its design.
