Versatile, dynamic and capable of responding to precise and ambitious objectives in terms of aesthetics, ergonomics and eco-sustainability: Snap is the new series of taps designed by Fima Carlo Frattini. The product is characterised by the maximum rationalisation of its components, right from the first stages of the production process, making it possible to limit waste and energy wastage. This was made possible by choosing to use casting technology, rather than obtaining the product from a bar with pre-determined diameters. Having fewer design constraints made it possible to balance the body, barrel and lever, also working on the joint between the elements, thus obtaining a product with freer and more ergonomic geometries and great aesthetic appeal.

Snap's body is a single, massive piece, with pronounced radii and an integrated baseplate that greatly facilitates product installation operations. The control, on the other hand, is more restrained, with an elongated, slim lever that offers a flat surface to the eye, softened on the edges at the grip. By means of a special slide mechanism, the handle slides over the body to open and close the water, without formal interruptions, for the benefit of usability and aesthetic cleanliness.

The result is a mixer with a bold character, with important volumes and many carefully proportioned radii, in a perfect balance of classic cylindrical shapes and modern lines, consistent with the latest trends. Ergonomics and eco-sustainability are the two concepts at the heart of the new collection, which does not forego a fresh and appealing aesthetic. On the one hand the formal cleanliness, the absence of sharp edges and mechanical joints makes the product pleasant to use and easy to maintain. On the other hand, the elimination of areas of major limescale build-up benefits durability and resistance, with a view to reducing environmental impact and extending product life.

There are numerous finishes in which the new series is available: from the classic Chrome and Brushed Nickel versions, to matt surfaces in White or Black. A further possibility is given by the PVD variant, a type of processing that creates a surface coating with superior characteristics in terms of hardness and resistance, offered in Champagne Gold and Bronze, polished or brushed. Punctual in dispensing, easy to install and clean, resistant in surface finish: Snap is the smart and eco-friendly solution ideal not only for residential environments but also for contract projects, guaranteeing an excellent standard of quality that lasts over time.
