Lucciola

The latest design to emerge from the Natevo by Flou call for ideas is Lucciola – luminous multifunctional furniture designed by DORODESIGN that brings a light interpretation to concrete, iron and light.

Lucciola means firefly and is multifunctional, a coat/umbrella stand and luminous storage container in one nature-inspired form.

It is a tubular-metal tree with branches that incorporate LEDs in their tips; the tree trunk also features a LED at the bottom and is rooted in a concrete base for weight and stability. Lucciola brings a light interpretation to strong materials and plays dynamically with light, modulating its intensity via its simple use and introducing an intermittent luminous presence (like a firefly).

DORODESIGN, Lucciola, Natevo

Designed by DORODESIGN, founded in August 2009 in Turin by designers Dario Olivero and Stefano Ollino, Lucciola brings a magic presence to its surroundings, like all Natevo furniture, plus a touch of irony. It must be sponsored on the Natevo website before it can be produced and enter the collection permanently.
