New products presented by Cappellini at the Fair include the Stracht chair by French designer Patrick Norquet with a wooden frame that holds a seat and back in expanded polyurethane. The 64 series – chair, table and bed (all from 1964) – designed by A.G. Fronzoni, is updated with a splash of colour. Made from a square or rectangular metal structure, the elegant and minimal lines drawn by the industrial and graphic designer, a master of minimalism, remain the same but now come in cherry red, ultramarine blue and sunshine yellow.
