Stone: Origins and Future in Architecture
On June 12 and 13, 2025, IUAV University of Venice will host "Stone is…," an international forum entirely dedicated to natural stone. Organized by PNA, this event aims to thoroughly explore the material's enduring value and sustainability, featuring insights from internationally renowned speakers.
Thanks to Fisica in Moto (Physics by Motorbike), the interactive educational workshop created by Contemporanea Progetti and the Fondazione Ducati at the Ducati factory, the answer seems to be yes. The project, organised in collaboration with the Liceo Malpighi in Bologna, was launched on March 26 at Borgo Panicate (Bologna). In the workshop, a number of specially designed and made interactive machines allow young people to experience in practice the principles of physics studied at school and the understand the link between these and the design of a Ducati motorbike by MotoGP. Professors of physics from Italian high schools can use the workshop from Monday to Friday by booking through the website. G.G.
