Through the eyes of six photographers, the city of Turin tells us about its urban transformation for the 2006 Olympic Games. For more than a year, from March 2004 to June 2005, Olivo Barbieri, Gabriele Basilico, Franco Fontana, Mimmo Jodice, Armin Linke and Francesco Jodice, have focused their cameras on the relationships between the new architectural and town planning aspects of the capital city of Piedmont to its historical backdrop. Three-hundred photos, part of a vast historical archive, are on view at the GAM. E.S.
