Into its sixth edition, Netmage (an international festival dedicated to electronic arts organised each year by Xing in Bologna), offers a packed calendar of events featuring protagonists from the digital scene (both audio and video). From German artist Carsten Nicolai, New York artist Arto Lindsay who presents a preview of a film made together with Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster, to Italians Nico Vascellari and ZimmerFrei. The keywords throughout are research and experimentation.

A series of presentations and seminars complete the events, such as the forum organised by Domus on Saturday 28 January at 1600h. The theme? From the ephemeral utopia to the golden age of the Olivetti commitment at Live-Media.

Three days of exhibitions, installations, concerts and performances will be housed in a new location with respect to previous editions, the halls of the historic palace-castle of Re Enzo. E.S.
