Through a collection of around 200 archival images, the exhibition curated by architect and historian Eduardo Luis Rodríguez reveals the political role that architecture had in Cuba in the 1960s.

The images illustrate around fifty projects practically unknown outside the confines of the island, which were realised by the state government as part of a national building programme. Eduardo Luis Rodríguez was born in Havana in 1959 and is the author of a number of books on modern and historical architecture of the Cuban capital. L.B.
