Two years after the first edition, Techne 02 – an exhibition of interactive installations promoted by the Provincia di Milano – returns to Spazio Oberdan to examine the state of the most advanced form of contamination between art and technology.

On show, the work of seven Italian artists: three of which – Nicola Toffolini and the groups Limiteazero and Makrida – are the winners of a national award, chosen from around fifty participants; Mario Canali, Ennio Bertrand, Piero Gilardi and Studio Azzurro are instead more well known artists from the international scene, invited to create work especially for the occasion. All the installations have a high level of interactivity – the spectator becomes an actor and integral part of the artistic creation, thanks to the use of sophisticated technology, lights, images and sounds.

To fully comprehend the exhibition then, you need to experience first hand the work on show: place your hands on the huge “Tamburi a sud” by Studio Azzurro or undergo the “Scribble Test” by Mario Canali and psychologist Elio Massironi to obtain a personal psychological profile based on a simple sketch made on a screen with an optic pen.
