Four new chairs presented by Infiniti at the Salone

At the Salone del Mobile in Milan, the Treviso-based company presented its 2019 novelties, designed by four international designers.

Chairs are the furnishings that best illustrate the development of Western civilization. According to Marco Romanelli, “the chair is therefore an object that ‘summarises’, a perfect story-teller. Between the tradition wooden chair which can still be found in little trattorie off the beaten track and avant-garde models in carbon fibre, lies the entire history of humankind.”

Every year the history of design is enriched at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, which confirms itself as the most important appointment in the field of products. A small contribution to the construction of this path was made by Infiniti, which this year presented four new products, conceived by four international designers.

Designed by mC.dsg, Ekki is a tribute to early 20th century designers, a retro-style piece of furniture with the addition of contemporary details. Favaretto&Partners designs a small armchair with soft and rounded shapes. Feluca is the name of an 18th century headgear, and also of the chair that Brogliato Traverso gives to the chair that takes up its geometries. A thin, light and comfortable shell is the main element of Sicla, the chair designed by Claus Breinholt.
