The team of French architects Anne Lacaton and Jean-Philippe Vassal, designers of the Palais de Tokyo in Paris are to design the future school of architecture in Nantes to be built near Jean Nouvel’s Palace of Justice which is presently on site. The announcement was made by the Minister of Culture who has set aside a budget of 24 million euro for the work.
Timing? The building should open in 2006 and will cover an area of 12500 square metres to house up to 800 students.
