Ciriani, Gaudin, Portzamparc and Nouvel are continually present on the pages of the major international publications, being as they are the so called stars of contemporary French architecture.

Patrick Berger, instead, makes up part of that rank of talented professionals – along with for examples Yves Lion and Jean-Pierre Buffi – who keep out of the limelight, leaving their work to speak for itself. Berger’s work can be seen in a fine exhibition at the Galerie d’Architecture in Paris (until 16 June) which presents some of his best buildings: such as the Paris park André- Citroën, the Maison de l’Université de Bourgogne and the école d’architecture de Bretagne in Rennes. Also including more recent works, such as the UEFA offices in Switzerland in the town of Nyon.
