In the countryside, not far from Zurich, a contemporary villa houses a family of five with a deep love of nature. The design intent was to create a true continuum between interior and exterior, integrating living spaces with the surrounding landscape.

The FLOW lifting sliding doors, designed by Giuseppe Bavuso, offer large glass surfaces that amplify natural light and enhance the visual connection with the outdoors.

FLOW's slim profiles, characterized by a central node of only 40 mm, create a refined, minimalist effect. Minimal thresholds, in some cases even flush with the floor, help eliminate any visual barriers, making the space fluid and harmonious.

The chosen configuration of window frames includes almost all construction possibilities: sliding with sash plus fixed, central fixed with side sliding sashes, corner openings and full-height solutions. This ensures both great visual openness and space-saving solutions that are well integrated into the architectural composition.

Aesthetically and functionally, the finishes were carefully selected: the exterior is aluminum with titanium finish, while internally we opted for bleached oak, which enriches the room with its visual warmth. Standard triple glazing and reduced thresholds ensure high performance in terms of thermal and acoustic insulation and living comfort.

The Italian brass handles, again designed by Giuseppe Bavuso and produced by MANDELLI 1953, were chosen in satin chrome finish. The overall result is a solution that combines minimal design, high technical performance and attention to detail, capable of embellishing any architectural context with elegance and functionality.
