Territory, people, quality, ecological transition, decarbonisation, circular economy, growth, renewable sources, energy efficiency and sustainability: ten key words capable of showing us the future and possible behaviours. These are also the principles that guide the industrial evolution of Iren, a multi-utility active in the sectors of electric and thermal energy for district heating, gas, management of integrated water, environmental and technological services. The ten-year plan presented by the group aims to design a sustainable future for its territories to the benefit of every community.

The ArtEcò initiative, conceived and promoted by Iren, aims to select an artist to represent the Group's values, challenges and vision of 2030, through a set of ten illustrations, one for each keyword.

"The illustrations can be made using any technique," reads the call for entries. "Since the chosen graphics will also be displayed along corridors and meeting rooms of institutional offices as well as in environments frequented by customers and various publics, the illustrations must be suitable for a wide and heterogeneous audience." It is possible to apply until 31 May 2022, after which a jury made up of representatives of the Iren Group and external experts will select the winning artist, whose compensation for the ten illustrations will amount to €10,000 net.

Iren's 2030 Industrial Plan envisages total investments of 12.7 billion euro and a strategy in line with the major challenges awaiting the country: from decarbonisation to the development of renewable energies, the circular economy and energy efficiency, including the safeguarding of natural resources. With this plan, the Group demonstrates that it is truly at the side of customers, citizens and all territories.
