The new proposal for the bed area by the Italian company Caccaro is all about personalisation. The new bed collections are based on a simple but ingenious idea: separate the headboard from the bed frame and then combine them freely in a variety of solutions.

With this strategy it is possible to freely combine different fabrics, elements and accessories, creating proposals that adapt to the complex aesthetic and functional requirements of contemporary life. The new products are designed to integrate perfectly with the new Wallover® system (we wrote about it HERE) and the iconic Freedhome® System.

Sensory, rhythm, light and "self-expression" are the principles that Caccaro wants to pursue with its design systems, which allow interesting combinations of full and empty, soft and rigid, containing and non-containing elements. 

Among the new customisable proposals we find the Bishape bed, designed by Monica Graffeo, featuring a headboard divided into two parts and which can be composed of different geometries: circles or rectangles. On the sides of the headboard we find an original light support that can be rotated by 90°. Let'space has a special headboard that can be configured down to the millimetre, occupying the whole wall in the case of a niche, or moving freely in the middle of it. The headboard becomes almost a boiserie, with a depth of 13 cm in which to store books, magazines, personal belongings or photographs.

With Groove, designer Monica Graffeo implements a deconstruction of the bed. An original multifunctional aluminium bar can also function as a headboard, but can also be interpreted with great freedom, thanks to the addition of various accessories. Also by Monica Graffeo is the design of Ajar: a textile bed that takes its name from the half-open slit in the cushions that make up the headboard. The graphic lines, soft and essential, generate a clean and original product. Minimalist style, accurate proportions and finishes: Filesse is a bed that makes cleanliness its strong point. The product is characterised by the S-shaped profile of the headboard, which naturally follows the posture of the back. Abundant padding defines the style of Toffee, a bed that with its curved lines welcomes people as if in a big hug.
