Smart learning, hybrid events, video conferences, digital exhibitions, online meeting rooms... In recent months, we have learned to master new digital tools to overcome the limitations imposed by the pandemic. These new modes of interaction have definitively changed the way events and trade fairs are conceived, which in the future will have to offer in-person, digital or hybrid solutions to ensure maximum accessibility to the content on offer.

This is the direction taken by MCE - Mostra Convegno Expocomfort, the world's leading exhibition for civil and industrial plant engineering, which from 8th to 16th April 2021 will be upgraded to MCE Live+Digital, an event dedicated to all those involved in sustainable energy design. The event – which this year will be completely online – represents not only an opportunity for in-depth analysis, but also a concrete business and networking opportunity for professionals working in this field.

First of all, MCE Live+Digital represents a privileged place for companies to showcase their innovative products. Access to the web platform, available from 27 March 2021, will give visitors the opportunity to discover the participating brands and arrange meetings. During the nine opening days there will be numerous opportunities for discussion and debate. The first two days (8 and 9 April 2021) will be dedicated to in-depth conferences with a focus on market trends, starting with the presentation of updated data on the Italian plant engineering market from the seventh "Conjunctural and Forecast Report on the Installations Market 2020-2023" produced by CRESME RICERCHE.

Among the initiatives proposed by MCE Live+Digital we will find the MEP BIM FORUM workshops, to take stock of the most important technologies of this revolutionary model of design and management of the building-plant system. There will also be THAT'S SMART labs, focusing on the intelligent building conceived in its relationship with the neighbourhood and the city. MCE's Energy Efficiency 4.0 project, on the other hand, will investigate energy efficiency in the industrial, tertiary, healthcare and public administration sectors.
