Continuing their immersive sculpture series, 37.2 architecture creates in a Haussmann apartment in Paris a surreal internal landscape that plays with the imagination of the inhabitants.

Enter the diamond is a functional sculpture installed in Paris at the heart of a Haussmann apartment.

This volume made of birch wood contains two shower-rooms. By creating this tiny singular space within the wider space of the apartment, 37.2 architecture play with density variations.

This sculpture fits perfectly with the minimalism of the place, though it contrasts fiercely with the moulding and the Haussmann classicism. This tension generates a fictional potential that plays with the imagination of the inhabitants.

The aim is to create an internal landscape in this entrance-room visible from all other rooms, including the kitchen, the three bedrooms and the living-room. Beyond its function – Shower at Tiffany’s – this installation is a form of esthetical enigma, somehow like a window facing unlikely landscapes. This sculpture is in the continuity of 37.2’s immersive sculpture series.
