Tom Dixon has been of the most eclectic and innovative designers ever. His brand, or rather his name, has been a beacon for the many who have tried to associate entrepreneurship and creativity. An amazing musician with a unique elegance, Tom is always on the hunt for new modes of expression while remaining himself. Not easy, but possible for him. After the launch of his hologram during the Stockholm Design Week in February, now the 24-hour tour de force in the city touches Milan, where the British designer already has a headquarter, restaurant-showroom named The Manzoni, in Via Manzoni, 5.

To honor the 60th anniversary of our illustrious Salone del Mobile, which was supposed to open on April 13 (now it will be September 5, 2021), Dixon on the same day presents 24 Hours in Milan, a series of digital events including a tribute to the Milanese fair-temple of international design, a summary of his presence in the city over the past 17 years, various activities including talks with Angela Missoni and Francesca Sarti of Arabeschi di Latte (always at Dixon's side), as well as cooking masterclasses and the inevitable DJ set.

As anticipated, everything will be digital including Tom (connect to tomdixon.net), who will be present as a hologram, appearing alongside his important guests. And with the occasion, the hologram will also launch two new products: Burst, a large LED chandelier composed of 12 sparkling spheres resembling a huge molecule, and the Hydro Chair, a limited edition seat of 60, numbered and signed, created in collaboration with Hydro, one of the largest aluminum giants, extremely lightweight and stackable, produced in Canada by Tesla's suppliers, and fully recyclable. It costs £2,021.
